QC82 Featured in IQT’s Report on Photonic Quantum Computing

College Park, MD – July 7th, 2025 – Inside Quantum Technology (IQT) featured QC82 as one of the important startups working on photonic quantum computing. A highlighted conclusion of IQT’s research is that the scalability of photonic quantum computing is amplified many fold with room -temperature detection, the last critical photonic technology needing cryogenic temperatures. That’s validation for our hyper focus on developing high-efficiency room temperature photon detection. Another conclusion is that photonic fabrication needs to be simplified, an area QC82 is conquering with simple, mass-reproducible, on-chip architectures for photonic quantum computing with passive photonic components.
