QC82 Publishes its Scalable Architecture for Fault Tolerant Quantum Computing

College Park, MD – July 16th, 2025 – QC82 announced the publication of its proprietary architecture for scalable, mass-reproducible fault tolerant photonic quantum computing architecture that provides a long-term roadmap to build industrial-scale quantum computers. QC82’s architecture is the only photonic architecture that uses only passive photonic on-chip components (enabling simple fabrication), uses low photon number resolution (enabling ultra-fast gates), produces photonic qubits at state-of-the-art probabilities above 90% (lower overhead for large-scale quantum computers), and enables universal fault tolerant quantum computing at around 13dB of cluster squeezing (state-of-the-art for CV photonics).
